Abode Saafan

I train teams to actually use AI.

By day I'm a Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft building Azure Logic Apps itself: a large-scale distributed system with AI features that enterprises run their workflow automation on. The rest of the time I bring that experience to teams like yours through hands-on AI training, prompt engineering, and automation that ships.

Now booking corporate AI workshops and automation engagements for fall 2026.

Services

For teams that have tried the AI tools and have nothing shipped to show for it. Focused engagements that turn AI from a talk track into working software.

01

AI Training & Enablement

Your team has the ChatGPT licenses and nothing has changed. I run hands-on workshops that take engineers and product folks from AI-curious to shipping real LLM features. I teach AI professionally every week, and every program is built around your team, your stack, and your goals. Good fit if: you want the team shipping LLM features this quarter.

Business Process Automation

Someone on your team copy-pastes between systems every day. That's a workflow. At Microsoft I'm a senior engineer building Azure Logic Apps, the platform enterprises automate their workflows on, so I know what makes automation stick at scale. I audit your manual processes and replace them with LLM- and agent-powered tooling that plugs into what you already use. Good fit if: hours of repetitive work each week, and nobody owns fixing it.

AI-Assisted Web & MVP Builds

A typical multi-week agency engagement, compressed into days. I ship production sites and MVPs fast with orchestrated AI workflows: design, copy, code, and SEO all in the loop. Both client sites below are live. Good fit if: you need it built right, and soon.

Teaching

I teach data science and AI every week as an instructor at BrainStation, and I bring the same skills to private clients: clear explanations, hands-on labs, and examples drawn from your team's actual work.

Formats: half-day corporate workshops, multi-week team enablement, and leadership briefings. Remote, or on-site in New York City.

In course feedback, students most often describe me as "patient," "approachable," and "super supportive," and call out how I break complex topics into clear, visual explanations.

  • 180+ professionals taught
  • 11 courses across data science & AI
  • Weekly live instruction since 2024

I expected a website to take a couple of months. Abode had ours designed, written, and live in a few days. I gave him one call's worth of information and he handled the rest.

I think Abode does great at explaining abstract concepts and rewording or providing examples if necessary for us to better grasp ideas in class. Also, I think it's great when he provides additional exercises in Slack for us to practice more.

We needed a proper business site fast and it had to work for SEO. Abode had it live in days, then worked with our marketing agency to get the SEO perfect.

Work

SpeakDeck

Web app that turns PowerPoint decks or written scripts into narrated videos. Adds natural AI voiceover, syncs each slide to its narration, and renders a finished MP4 as either a full lecture or a short vertical clip.

What it proves: I design and ship LLM products end to end, the same capability behind every build engagement.

AI Concepts Lab

An interactive teaching lab that explains modern AI engineering concepts through animated, scene-by-scene walkthroughs, covering workflows vs. agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), how a prompt becomes an answer, the context window, and coding agents. Built to make abstract LLM ideas visual and tangible, with a fully responsive layout that works on mobile.

What it proves: I can make AI concepts click. This is a live, free sample of how I teach.

Meadow

Led UX research and interface design for a peer support platform aimed at reducing stigma around seeking mental health help. Prioritized anonymity-first flows after user research showed identity exposure was the top barrier to engagement, so resource search and peer matching were both designed to work without requiring profile disclosure. This shaped how I think about designing for trust and psychological safety in sensitive product contexts.
